In a statement released by their label MIE Music, the decision came after what they described as “prayerful consideration and careful review.” The team explained that the cancellation was due to organizational and management issues involving the group responsible for coordinating the event. Rather than compromising on their values, the duo chose to step back.
“We uphold our ministry with integrity and excellence,”
the statement reads.
“When we noticed challenges in the event’s coordination, we felt it necessary to make this decision.”
